The National Center for Family Literacy created Camp What-A-Wonder to provide families inspiration and opportunities to read and learn together during the summer at no cost. Every day there is a new Wonder of the Day® and lots of fun learning activities.
Camp What-A-Wonder is a fun, free opportunity for parents and children to learn together during the summer. This year’s theme is “Uncover the Wonder Around You,” celebrating the many ways Wonder can happen anywhere, at any time. Camp What-A-Wonder runs Monday – Friday, June 17 – July 26, with a new theme each week.
Check out the weekly sections and find fun activities to try, exciting trips to take, and lots of Wonders of the Day® to explore with your family. Share your experiences with other campers and the make the most of a summer of learning.
Wonderopolis® is a place where natural curiosity and imagination lead to exploration and discovery in learners of all ages. Brought to life by the National Center for Family Literacy (NCFL), their Wonders of the Day® will help you find learning moments in everyday life—ones that fit in with dinner preparations, carpool responsibilities, a stolen moment between breakfast and the bus, or within school curriculum and education programs.
