Looking for a fun way for your children to practice addition and multiplication? Try this fun game we created with a beach ball I bought at the dollar store and a permanent marker.
Blow up the beach ball.
Draw a line down the center horizontally.
Put the numbers 1 to 12 randomly around the ball. (One number in each section)
The first player tosses the ball to the second player.
When the second player catches the ball he/she looks at what numbers his/her hands landed on and must either add or multiply the two numbers depending upon their math level.
It’s a fun twist on a regular beach ball game because it gets the kids thinking while they are tossing the ball around. My girls had lots of fun and didn’t even mind that they were practicing math. 🙂
