There are many types of fairies out there. There’s the tooth fairy. Of course there is Tinkerbell and the rest of her Disney Fairy friends. And let’s not forget about fairy godmothers. My family went to Disney on Ice a few days ago and had a magical time. This particular show was all about several Disney Princesses including Rapunzel, Tiana, and Cinderella. Just like in the story of Cinderella, in the Disney on Ice version Cinderella was visited by her fairy godmother. We’ve all had days where we wished we had a fairy godmother of our own, right? I mean who wouldn’t want someone who could wave a magic wand or spread a little fairy dust and make our wishes come true? Well as luck would have it, I received a visit from a fairy that same day.
Now before you think I am crazy, let me explain. My blog was visited by not my fairy godmother but my Fairy Hobmother. What’s a Fairy Hobmother you ask? The Fairy Hobmother goes from blog to blog spreading Amazon gift cards far and wide across the blogosphere to spread a little joy to hard working bloggers. I was so excited when I received an e-mail from the Fairy Hobmother letting me know that he checked out my blog and “It’s clear that you work very hard on it, and I think that your hard work deserves to be rewarded. I’d like to send you a gift in the form of a voucher for Amazon to have a little fun with.” What a sweet message to receive! Many people don’t realize just how much work goes into blogging, especially deal blogging, so it was so nice to open an e-mail and be recognized for all my hard work.
Thank you Fairy Hobmother! You made my day!
